COACH COWHER MAKES IT OFFICIAL AND SAYS GOODBYE
“After careful and deliberate consideration I’ve decided to resign today.”
Those were the words that no Steelers fan wanted to hear. Bill Cowher was leaving the Steelers.
Dan Rooney, who stated that the last fifteen years had been special, thanked Bill Cowher for his contribution to the Steelers.
Cowher emphasised spending time with his family as the only reason for his retirement and didn’t rule out a return to football sometime in the future.
“It’s totally my choice. There’s no one who can tell you what to do with your life. I’ve been blessed and very fortunate."

at 8 am.
Membership is not required to participate, but it does have its
benefits. All football fans are encouraged to attend, especially those who
did not make the playoffs!
For information or to register please call "The
Boss" at 228-326-0206 or email cindylamb@cableone.net .
It is a charity event
to assist Katrina relief efforts in the Biloxi/Gulfport Mississippi area.
One of the SCM bosses, Cindy Lamb has a strong Steelers fan club down there
still, even despite losing most of thier person belongings not to mention
the local Steelers bar they used for years.
It is only fitting that Steeler Nation
shows its true character and helps these people get back on thier feet.
Greg Lloyd and his family are involved and Greg has generously offered to
donate 100% of autograph proceeds to Habitat for Humanity who we are working
with for this.
